Teach me and I remember.
Involve me and I learn.”

504 Plan
As defined by the US Department of Education, a 504 Plan (Rehabilitation Act of 1973) is designed to provide equal access and fairness in general education to students with disabilities, thereby leveling the playing field for them through what is known as a Section 504 Accommodation Plan.
A 504 Plan is not designed to enhance a student's performance, rather it is a plan to provide a student fairness and equal access to education.
Ohio Special Education Advocacy can help you understand how a 504 plan can meet your child's needs. This stage in determining which services are in the best interest of your child can be overwhelming. We will guide you on those differences and provide recommendations to help you determine what is in the best interest of your child.
